After a few weeks of being sick, I found myself eating only this and Indian food for dinner. My body and my brain were craving these medicinal foods to help me fight off the sickness. Not only did this make me feel good, but it also boosted my mood during a turbulent time. Here are a few reasons why this powerful mixture is here is to stay in my morning routine:

Coconut: full of healthy fats, contains necessary minerals, such as Manganese, Copper, and Iron, contains anti-oxidizing properties, promotes blood sugar regulation, and a healthy heart
Ever heard of MCT oil? Medium-Chain Triglycerides (MCTs) is found in much of the healthy fats that coconut contains. MCTs are easily absorbed in the small intestine and used immediately for energy. MCTs also promote weight balance
Tahini: high in fiber and protein, full of vitamins and minerals like Copper, Selenium, and Manganese. Contains Omega 3's and 6's fats which aid brain function, promotes a healthy metabolism, and contains phytoestrogen which regulates hormonal balance
Dates: high in fiber, contains B vitamins and is mineral rich, such as Zinc, Iron, and Potassium. Energizing and increases stamina, promotes healthy digestion, and stimulates red-blood cell production

Ingredients: Serves 1-2
- Sugar-Free Coconut Yogurt (250ml)
- 2 TBSP of Cacao Protein Powder (can also mix regular protein powder and cacao powder)
- 1 TBSP of Homemade Tahini mixed with Date Syrup (I buy this pre-made from a Farmer's market in Berlin, but mixed Tahini and Date Syrup work well too)
- Ceylon Cinnamon to taste
- 1 Cup of your favorite Granola or Muesli
- Handful of Bio Walnuts
- 1 Banana
- Handful of Blueberries
- Sprinkle of Hemp seeds
- Sprinkle of Chia seeds

Method:
Scoop Coco Yogurt into a small serving bowl
Mix in Protein Powder, Tahini mixture, and Cinnamon
Add Granola and handful of Walnuts on top of yogurt
Place fresh Banana Slices and Blueberries on top of Granola
Sprinkle Hemp and Chia seeds on top
Serve and enjoy right away!
